A VISION OF MUSIC, ART & FOOD
This year’s Niseko Jazz Festival is a collaboration between Blue Note Tokyo, local jazz musician Shigeru Shiraki, and luxury brand SC Global Developments, uniting world-class jazz with luxury lifestyle experiences. As one of Japan’s most prestigious jazz institutions, Blue Note Tokyo brings its rich legacy of hosting legendary artists to the festival, elevating the event to new heights.
Shigeru Shiraki, a passionate jazz musician with over 20 years of experience performing and managing jazz events—including the popular Kutchan Jazz Festival—joins forces with SC Global Developments to bring this vision to life. Together, they aim to establish an annual festival that celebrates music, art, and food, uniting icons in their respective fields for an unforgettable cultural and lifestyle experience in Niseko.
Niseko Jazz Festival 2024
There is nothing like live jazz on a sunny summer’s day. Our 2024 was an unforgettable weekend, with close to 1,000 attendees joining us in the beautiful alfresco courtyard of Setsu Niseko. With Mount Yotei’s stunning panorama and the sun casting a warm glow across the courtyard, guests were enthralled by an impressive lineup showcasing the genre’s full spectrum, from classic to contemporary.

SAVOUR DELICIOUS BITES AT OUR GOURMET POP-UPS
Don’t let the music be the only thing that hits all the right notes! The festival will host a range of delicious pop-up stalls by Setsu Niseko's inhouse restaurants to keep you fuelled throughout the weekend. Expect a variety of cuisines to tempt your tastebuds showcasing the incredible produce of Hokkaido, all conveniently located within easy access to the main stage.
Fun for the little Festival-goers
At Niseko Jazz Festival, we believe in fostering a love of music for all ages. Children of all ages are welcome to join in the experience, making it a festival for the whole family to enjoy.

Artist profile
This year’s festival visual was lovingly created by graphic artist Sayaka Miyauchi. Her bold designs blend imagined terrains with familiar forms—such as the iconic Mt. Yotei—capturing the spirit of jazz through landscapes that speak to both memory and imagination. Miyauchi’s work has a distinctive style characterized by vibrant colours and abstracted natural forms. Her work often evokes a sense of place that feels both familiar and dreamlike, inviting viewers into landscapes shaped by memory and imagination. Her art has been showcased in solo exhibitions, including "It’s Somewhere" at K Art Gallery in Tokyo, and she has collaborated with brands such as WeWork Japan, as well as a fashion collaboration with CLUB21Thailand.
