Legendary Blues Artist Fusanosuke Kondo once said “Kenichiro Tamagawa is a singer who is far ahead of me from the time I met him to the present.”

In 2004, he crossed paths with Ryo Fukui, one of Japan’s leading bop pianists, which sparked his interest in jazz. In 2018, he released his debut album On a Slow Boat, followed by his second album, Sings For You in 2021. In December 2024, he performed at the HTB Sylvester Concert with the Sapporo Symphony Orchestra.
