Fumika Asari (guitar)

Fumika Asari Born in Fukushima City, Asari Fumika is a rising star in the jazz world, known for her fluid technique and expressive guitar work. Her journey began in high school, where she first picked up the guitar as part of the Jazz Research Club. She later moved to Tokyo in 2012 to pursue university studies while making a name for herself in the local jazz scene. In 2015, Fumika’s talent was recognized when she reached the finals of the prestigious Gibson Jazz Guitar Contest. Her highly anticipated debut album, Introducin’ featuring both jazz standards and original compositions, was released in 2020, soaring to the top of the Amazon Jazz Chart and earning her national acclaim. Building on this success, she released her second album, Thanks For Emily, in 2023 as a tribute to the late jazz guitarist Emily Remler. The album reflects Fumika’s deep respect for her predecessors and commitment to honoring their legacy, while establishing herself as one of Japan’s leading female jazz guitarists.
Yuki Muto

Yuki Muto (Piano)

Yuki Muto began playing the piano at the age of five, studying classical music throughout his early years. In junior high and high school, he expanded his musical experience by playing the oboe in the brass band. His passion for jazz emerged during his time at Chuo University, where he joined the Swing Crystal Orchestra, the university’s big band. In June 2018, Muto released his debut album, I Loves You, Porgy. While jazz remains his primary focus, he is an active and versatile musician, engaging in arranging, composing, music production, and sound logo creation across various genres.
Daiki Mishima

Daiki Mishima (Electric Bass)

Daiki Mishima picked up the electric bass at 15, igniting a passion that would propel him onto the Tokyo jazz scene collaborating with a who’s who of Japanese artists, including Kosuke Mine, Takaaki Miyanokami, Kanji Ohta, and the legendary Sadao Watanabe. Mishima’s energetic performances and undeniable talent have made him a sought-after bassist. He currently works as a support for the Sadao Watanabe Group, Ittetsu Takemura Quartet, Asari Fumika Group, and singer-songwriter Ono Yudai.
Hayato Yamazaki

Hayato Yamazaki (Drums)

Born in Aichi Prefecture in 2001, Hayoto Yamakazi began playing the drums at the age of three, making his live debut at nine. During junior high, he became engrossed in world folk music and percussion. Through the introduction to renowned fusion guitarist Akira Kuratani (the master behind the acclaimed ‘Mr Kenny’s ” jazz club in Nagoya), he had the opportunity to perform with various jazz and fusion musicians. While still in school, he won multiple awards and gained recognition by performing live across the country, contributing to fellow artists’ albums and appearing on television. In 2021, he relocated to Tokyo, where he is active as a session drummer, studio musician, and percussionist. His versatility spans multiple genres, including jazz, pop, fusion, Latin, and Brazilian music.
